Legal RM hosted the inaugural records management networking event on 25th June.

The informal meeting attracted 35 records managers and archivists from firms as far afield as Watford and Manchester, along with the leading London firms including 10 of the Top 20 UK law firms.

The highlight of the evening was a Champagne draw with the two winners being Trevor Hughes from Clifford Chance and Simon Mayhew of Norton Rose. Congratulations to both!

"Having witnessed the value similar industry events offer IT and Finance Directors from leading law firms, we wanted to provide a platform for Records Managers to share ideas on policy, best practices and future challenges." said Keith Dacey of Legal RM. "Based on the level of interest and the excellent turn out, this event will now become a regular feature on Records Managers' calendars, facilitating a free exchange of ideas in a non-sales and non- technical environment. The feedback from attendees has been extremely positive, showing this event to be a huge success."
